Soroptimist Sisters and the ALD participants celebrated Christmas with full gusto on the 21st December. Games such as Musical Chairs and Simon Says were arranged and the participants let their hair down and enjoyed themselves.

Everyone posed with the Christmas tree and the ALD participants also sang some Christmas carols. The celebrations ended with partaking of some snacks and sweets.

The ALD participants practiced for the play as well as practiced the Christmas carols that they would sing for the Christmas celebrations to be held on the 21st. The carols practiced were:

• We wish you a Merry Christmas
• Jingle Bells
• Felis Navidad

Learning carols helps the participants to master pronunciation and intonation while speaking English
