SIBC forged a New Friendship Link with Soroptimist International of El, Cerrito, San Francisco district Ms. Barbara Lanier, Founder Region Parliamentarian handed the Friendship Link certificate to President Celina Joy on 21st January, 2017. Ms. Barbara also interacted with SIBC members on various occasions over the three days that she spent in Mumbai.
The members of SIBC participated in Community Service Day organised by Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions on the 21st January, 2017. This unique community service program helps in fostering a spirit of giving among students and young people. Members of SIBC visited a resort in Lonavala for a Fellowship meet on 15th January 2017. About 15 members attended the meet. The members wholehearted participated in all the fun games and exciting activities. It was a beautiful day spent in fellowship and friendship and reinforced the commitment to Soroptimism.
