The topic was carried out in role play methodology. Students chose different situations like parent teacher’s meeting, visiting a gynecologist and visiting a retail shop. The teacher and the B.Ed students initiated the discussion which was then followed up by the ALD participants. Lot of emphasis was given on basic etiquettes and how to communicate effectively in different scenarios. New word and sentences were written on the board to reinforce learning. B.Ed. students also put in lot of efforts to create a consciousness of simple healthy living and high thinking.

This encouraged the ALD participants also to take up new situation and enact effectively. These activities helped each one to shed away their stage fear and evolve as a confident personality.
