Sneha- Personal Development and Pre-Vocational Skills Training for Underprivileged Girl Students Pursuing the Nurse Aide Programme

SI BOMBAY CHEMBUR conducted Personal development workshops and pre-vocational skills training for underprivileged girl students enrolled in the Nurse Aide Programme conducted by Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action (SNEHA). This project was conducted in association with two educational institutions of the Pillai Group namely Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research and Mahatma Night Degree College. This initiative of SIBC aims to train nurse-aids with a set of skills which will help them in developing their personality and attitude. The program touched upon topics like Grooming and Etiquette, Time, Anger and Stress Management, Body Language, Communication, How to prepare for an Interview and Spoken English. It was conducted over a three month period spanning September to November, 2018 at two centres of SNEHA, one at Kurla and the other at Santacruz. More than 80 participants benefited from this initiative.
