‘SOROFEST: The Silver Jubilee Magazine of SI Bombay Chembur’ was released by Ms. Jyoti Mhapsekar, President and co-founder of Stree Mukti Sanghatana on 15th October 2022, during the 25th Charter Celebration of the club at the Illusions Banquet Hall at Acres Club, Mumbai.

The book consists of snapshots of SIBC’s journey over 25 years, summary of its flagship projects and articles written by a diverse set of people talking about the aspirations, achievements, struggles and dreams of women.

We are fortunate to receive and feature messages of friendship from our friendship clubs; institutional partners; as also from Maureen Maguire, the Soroptimist International President 2022-2023; Cathy Cottridge, SIGBI President 2021-22; and Margaret Clark, SIGBI Federation Consultative Councillor (FCC). We are happy to note that the copies of the magazine were received by them in person, courtesy, Nisha Ghosh, President Elect NASI during the SIGBI Federation Conference at Belfast.
