SIBC decided to revive this activity of donating blankets to homeless and other poor communities in the light of cold weather setting in. We collected small donations to purchase new blankets for distribution which was done on two separate days.
On 28th November, the members reached out to street dwellers around Chembur. With warmth in their hands and humanity in their hearts, they distributed blankets to street dwellers to comfort them during days of dipping temperatures. Around 80 blankets were distributed.
On 8th December 2025, the members travelled to Kundewahal, an Adivasi village near Panvel and distributed blankets to the elderly and children who had gathered in the local school.
