SI Bombay Chembur celebrated Women’s Equality Day in collaboration with Women Development Cell of the Pillai Group of Institutions, at their Panvel Campus, by felicitating two dynamic young women who charted a different path and made a mark in careers that traditionally belong to men. Major Priyanka Gupta, an architect by training became an Indian Army officer and Ms Priya Tetgure, an engineer became a Loco Pilot with the Konkan Railways. Both women inspired an audience of students and teachers of Architecture, Management and Engineering with their life stories and made a passionate case for gender equality in all spheres of life and work.
