The week-long Workshop on “Girls in AI and Automation,” was jointly organized by Soroptimist International Bombay Chembur (SIBC) and Society of Women Engineers, Pillai College of Engineering affiliate (SWE PCE). The workshop was a vibrant celebration of innovation, learning, and empowerment. Throughout the week, young women immersed themselves in cutting-edge sessions on artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies, gaining hands-on experience and invaluable mentorship. The event culminated in a Valedictory Ceremony graced by Dr. Daphne Pillai, Founder President of SIBC and Chairperson MES — a visionary leader and champion of women’s education and empowerment. Her inspiring words left the audience energized, reminding every participant that they are the architects of a smarter, more inclusive future.
A total of 92 girl students from schools of Panvel and Navi Mumbai completed the training workshop and were awarded certificates.
