We at SIBC celebrated International Friendship Day on Sunday, 28th July 2024 at 4.30 pm over an hour of online fun session with our friendship link clubs SI Bangalore and SI Tunbridge. The members of the 3 clubs met over a virtual cup of coffee and shared a little bit of our art and culture and forge friendships. It was great to have members of SI Ladakh, SI Kolkata and SI Pune also joining in. There were short presentations and demos on Tassel Making, Knitting and Warli Tribal Art – some of the traditional crafts practiced by women in their local areas and ideas on how these have become a means of economical upliftment were shared.
