The following is a summary of various events and programmes conducted.

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session

9th March 2026

In collaboration with HOCL School Rasayani, we organized an impactful awareness program focused on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM). The session was held for the students of Bhanuben Pravin Shah School in Tara Village, aiming to break social taboos and promote healthy practices among young girls.

The program began with an interactive session led by the members Soroptimist International. The discussion covered the biological aspects of menstruation, the importance of maintaining cleanliness, and the long-term health benefits of proper hygiene. Speakers encouraged an open dialogue, encouraging students to ask questions and dispel common myths surrounding the menstrual cycle. A brief demonstration was provided on the correct usage and eco-friendly disposal of sanitary products.

Following the educational talk, a distribution drive was conducted. To ensure that the students have immediate access to necessary resources, sanitary pad kits were distributed to all participants. This initiative aimed to support girls who may face financial or geographical barriers to accessing menstrual products.
