On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Soroptimist Welfare Association in collaboration with Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research organised a session titled “Fitness in Motion” exclusively for the women help staff. The help staff play a vital role in the smooth functioning of an institution, and this session is a small gesture to recognize their hard work and contribution. The session was conducted by popular fitness coach and trainer, Ms. Swapna Joshi. The objective of this program was to encourage regular physical activity, improve fitness, reduce stress, and inspire everyone to adopt healthy habits. Through simple exercises, movement activities, wellness practices and most importantly better nutrition awareness, all the participants were motivated to make fitness an enjoyable part of their daily routine. The session was coordinated by Soroptimist members Dr. Smita Dalvi, Dr. Betty Sibil and Dr. Celina Joy.
