Soroptimist International Bombay Chembur played host to the NASI of India’s Annual General Meeting in 2009. Delegates from all the Soroptimist Clubs in India attended the two day meet. Each Club made a presentation of the various projects undertaken by them during the year. The meet concluded with a visit to Prem Daan.

Shanti Daan is an institution run by the Missionaries of Charity for the abandoned and destitute women and girl children.
