Students stage nukkad natak to sensitise people on mental health
“In a vibrant display of creativity and social responsibility, the second-year B.Ed. Students of MES’s Pillai College of Education & Research, Chembur, in collaboration with Soroptimist Welfare Association (SIBC), took to the streets to mark World Mental Health Day.”
Hindustan times has covered SIBC’s fantastic initiative of organising a street play on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. The students of Pillai College of Education and Research led by our member Dr. Reni Francis devised and performed the play. By combining entertainment with education, the students successfully conveyed the message that mental health is a collective responsibility and that seeking help is a sign of strength.
