World Environment Day 2023
World Environment Day 2023 was celebrated by SI Bombay Chembur in association with Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research. On 7th June, An interactive session was organized in Marathi for the help staff of the Pillai Campus on the theme of preventing and navigating plastic pollution. Prof. Krushna Sawant was invited to conduct the session. It was attended by 45 maavshis.
The activity covered the SDG #12: Responsible consumption and production, SDG#13: Climate Action.

SI Bombay Chembur in partnership with Chembur English High School observed the World Environment Day by conducting week-long activities of poster making, slogan writing and making useful items from plastic containers. The week concluded by a walkathon in the lanes of Chembur with posters and chanting slogans to protect the environment.
The students also distributed paper bags to the shops in the neighbourhood.

Collaborated with ‘THE ECO TALES’ to celebrate World Environment Day on Tuesday, 27th June, 2023.
Resource Person: Ami Chedda, an Engineer by profession practising zero waste lifestyle and sustainability, Founder of Ecotales (sustainable eco-friendly lifestyle products), Hath yoga practitioner and a sound healer.
Almost 80 Kindergarten students participated in the activities ‘Mud Painting’ and ‘Paper Bag Making’
She encouraged the kids to use ecofriendly products in their day-to-day life. They had a great deal of fun during the session.
