A meeting on Zoom platform was conducted with members of SI Llandudno, friendship link of SI Bombay Chembur, on 12th January, 2021. SIBC celebrated International Day of the Girl Child on 13th October 2017 in collaboration with our Friendship Link Club, SI of Amounderness, UK with a visit to Prerana, a shelter at Kharghar, Mumbai, that works for girls exposed to trafficking. SIBC forged a New Friendship Link with Soroptimist International of El, Cerrito, San Francisco district Ms. Barbara Lanier, Founder Region Parliamentarian handed the Friendship Link certificate to President Celina Joy on 21st January, 2017. Ms. Barbara also interacted with SIBC members on various occasions over the three days that she spent in Mumbai.
