In keeping with the objectives of SIBC’s Project ASHA that helps women entrepreneurs from marginalised communities through financial aid and mentorship, two small scale entrepreneurs, Ms. Noor Jahan Anjar Alam Shaikh, and Ms. Maya Aappas Mane were given financial assistance of ₹ 5,000/- each to set up their tailoring units in their locality. This initiative will help these women start and grow their businesses, eventually aiding them in their journey to financial independence. SIBC will continue to support and mentor them through this process.
