Every year SIBC celebrates this day by felicitating women who have overcome all odds to establish themselves and Make a Difference. This year, SIBC in association with the Pillai Group of Institutions felicitated Ms. Shaheen Mistri, an exemplary social worker with the Soroptimist Excellence Award 2018. Shaheen Mistri is an Indian social activist and educator.
SIBC had a wonderful time of sisterhood and bonding with SI sisters from Israel on 22nd February, 2018 evening. It was a joyous evening to welcome and interact with the SI sisters from Israel, Ms Aliya Kedem along with a few other prospective members. On 22nd February 2018, the ALD session for the year 2017-18 came to an end with a Valedictory programme. Certificates were handed over to successful participants. Margaret Clark, the Assistant Programme Director, Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland visited Soroptimist International of Bombay Chembur on 5th February, 2018. They were happy to have along with them Andria, a member of SI Barbados (Past President Barbados and current PAC Barbados).The objective of her visit was to meet members of SI clubs
