Session on “Safe and Unsafe Touch”

SIBC in association with Dr. Pillai Global Academy, New Panvel organised 2 separate sessions for students of Grade 1-3 and Grade 4-6 on Safe and Unsafe Touch. SIBC member Yvette Lee who is a counsellor and social worker facilitated these sessions.

Around 200 students attended this session held between the 20th March – 11th April, 2024.

This activity was done towards the fulfillment of SDG 3, 5, and 10.

Session on “Pre Marital Counselling”

SIBC in association with Mahatma Junior College of Education, Chembur organised a premarital counselling session for young girls studying an a diploma program. Around 85 girls attended this session. Topics such as gender equality in everyday life, women empowerment, sex education and legal rights of daughters and wives were discussed in detail.

The session was held on the 2nd and 3rd December, 2023 and the resource person was from our partner NGO, Stree Mukta Sangathana.

This activity was done towards the fulfillment of SDG 3, 5, and 10.

A cheque of Rs. 8000 was presented to Mrs. Prachi Chavan, to sponsor her education and complete her SSC examinations under the ALD and SHASHAKT project.
