SIBC got together with Pillai HOC College of Architecture, Rasayani to observe ‘World Toilet Day’ with the formal launch of the 4th cycle of Inter-college Toilet Design Competition – NIRMAL 2024. To specifically mark the day, an expert talk was organised in hybrid mode to energise the registered participants of the competition. The resource speaker was Ar. Parul Kumtha, Principal Architect of Nature Nurture, Pune. In an interactive session, she laid out the concepts of social and physical inclusivity, changing mindsets and mitigating barriers. She also explained the concepts of well-designed public toilets and their importance in achieving social inclusivity.
